94 Hazard, 89 Mbappe, Varane 87 Umtiti in FUT 18 World Cup Semifinals Motms

France became the first country to advance to the 2018 World Cup final, with a 1-0 win over Belgium and its “golden generation” of players. Barcelona center-back 87 Samuel Umtiti was the lone goalscorer Tuesday, with a 51st-minute header to push Les Bleus through to their third final.

The two teams lived up to the hype surrounding the match, as the heavyweights traded blows early in the first half. French wünderkind 89 Kylian Mbappé was stellar yet again, as he continues to make his case for Best Young Player at this tournament. The 19-year-old Paris Saint-Germain winger was ruthless against the Red Devils, making six key passes.

On the other side, Chelsea star man 94 Eden Hazard put in a shift for Belgium, with two shots and one key pass. The national team captain also had 10 dribbles and posted a 96 percent passing accuracy.

But the staunch French defense stood strong and got their four clean sheet of the World Cup, chiefly due to the work ethic of Umtiti and Real Madrid center-back 89 Raphael Varane. The 25 year-old defender made six clearances, won two aerials, blocked one shot, and intercepted one pass through 90 minutes today. In addition, he topped it off with an 89.7 percent passing accuracy.
